Really like this item, the shine or lustar is great. The only problem is the lock, sometime if the hook gets sqeezed to slim it will not stay in the lock, and then you have to open out the hook some.I just think that after having to do this the metal in the hook weakens and the hook will break.

I purchased these pearls for my wife for Christmas after only finding scrawny, small pearl necklaces at local department stores. And for more money to boot! These are nice sized pearls and look great, high quality.I was a little concerned about buying something like this on the internet. However, the Pearl Source was great. I contacted them when it was in shipment concerned about arrival before Christmas. They were very accommodating and offered to send another necklace if it didn't arrive in another two days. They also agreed to take them back if my wife didn't like them.They arrived on time and my wife loves the necklace and it looks great on her too!

My girl loved it! It comes in a nice case to hold it in and it fit perfectly! I and she are very pleased!

This is a good item. The necklace itself is to bulgy and big. It is a okay item, but don't spent you money on this. It's not worth the price. The beads stick into your neck and they hurt. You have to keep on adjusting it to keep it in the right place. Not a great item for the price.

Nice pearl necklace! Classy not cheap! Not perfect of course--some minor imperfections but nothing you'd really notice unless you check very closely. The gold clasp is a filigree style marked 14k 585, not the solid as shown on the photo but works for me because it's what I wanted. Came in a decent black box lined with black velvet/white satin. For $169, this is definitely bang for your buck!

Given that she does a lot of beading (and given that I would always choose quality over quantity), I spent quite a while doing research into whether to go for freshwater or akoya, who sold what and how much I was able to spend.Given the cost of south sea or akoya pearls, this was my best choice for pearls of a decent size (in black - much classier than white imho) with a nice clasp, without spending over $500.The gift was very well received - the recipient was almost speechless for a while, so I think I made the right choice! Shipping was quick and customer service responded quickly when contacted. Their website is also very informative when it comes to choosing pearl types, necklace sizes etc.Recommended!

Firstly - I have experience with cultured pearls. When I saw the rating of AAA it was very impressive since the AAA pearl rating is very costly. The price for AAA cultured pearls would be reasonable IF THESE WERE AAA !!! They are no where near to the AAA rating - I will go further to say they should NOT EVEN be rated "A"! ! ! - Now I'll tell you why; China! ! ! ! Cultured pearls coming out of china are at best $2 or $4 per strand of pearls when purchased in bulk. They are very poorly grown [ showing open gaps of nacre - flat spots - misshapen - off color ] The pearls grown in China are not given the necessary development time to cover the seed with nacre - so the nacre is very very thin. All of the drawbacks to pearls grown in the Chinese pearl factories are the reason the market price for bulk strands is under $5. I called Amazon to speak with a customer representative who listened and agreed I should post this notice along with the lowest recommended rating of 1-star. I returned the pearl strand sent to me from this sellers page for a full refund. I also feel it a duty to the Amazon community to post a warning about the AAA quality rating on this item as AAA IS A COMPLETELY FALSE CLAIM. Buy elsewhere - these are coming out of CHINA via NEW YORK CITY.

Absolutely gorgeous necklace. Just as pictured. Very sturdy clasp. It lays flat, and is comfortable. Highly recommended.

Amazon Order filled incredibly fast. Arrived in an elegant, presentation case along with several info pamphlets. Both earrings and necklas so beautiful. My wife incredibly happy. Great price too.

Even more beautiful in reality than on the images. Very special design. A find. The aquamarine stones are all a little different, which adds to the charm. Some are shiny, some are milky, some are small, some are bigger. The triangle is a fascinating design, and I wonder if it has a special meaning? If it is a triskele?
